Brian Jackson, M.D.

Brian Jackson is associate professor of pathology, and adjunct associate professor of biomedical informatics, at the University of Utah. He is also the medical director for IT, Business Development and Support Services at ARUP Laboratories. He received his MD and medical informatics MS degrees at the University of Utah and completed residency in clinical pathology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. His current research focus is on medical ethical accountability within biomedical industry. He is a frequent invited speaker on ethical issues in informatics, including patient privacy, social responsibility reporting, and the ethical implications of artificial intelligence.
